Cavalier Ferrante

Cavalier Ferrante’s family has been engaged in wine production since 1800.

Winemakers and Master Coopers, the family has always preserved over time the winemaking traditions, respect for the land.

Today the project of Mario, Carmela, Antonietta and Michele, heirs of Cavalier Ferrante, is more ambitious, translating the old family traditions into innovative and courageous activities.

Irpinia with its “terroir” of high viticultural potential and in particular, the area of Luogosano and Taurasi, lend themselves well to best express the Cavalier Ferrante family’s passion for wine.

THE

Territory

Tenuta Cav. Ferrante - Avellino

Campania, with its mild climate mitigated by the sea, and its territory that alternates between valleys, plains and mountains, favor the growth of excellent grapes.

Taurasi, Greco di Tufo, and Fiano di Avellino wines represent the best of Campania’s production, and have obtained the highest protection at the European level, the DOCG.

Irpinia, an extremely fertile and lush land is the area of the three great D.O.C.G.s-Taurasi, Greco di Tufo and Fiano di Avellino.

The Cavalier Ferrante estate is part of this ancient territory, devoted to the production of Campania’s excellent wines.
